According to Part 5 of the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act, Act 857 of 2013, all companies (both public and private) which have hospitals or facilities where psychological or counselling services are provided in Ghana must be duly registered and accredited by the Psychology Council.
To obtain accreditation for a corporate body-owned facility, the form can be downloaded from our website. The completed form should be submitted with all necessary supporting documents as stated on the form.
Registration fee: GHC 1,000.00 — to be renewed annually at a fee of GHC 1,000.00.
Inspection of premises fee: GHC 1,500.00 (one-time payment).

To complete the registration process, an inspection of premises will be carried out at a fee of GHC 1,500.00 (one-time payment). After all requirements are met, the registration process is finalised with an approval letter given to the accredited facility along with a certificate of accreditation.
