The Psychology Council is the only Regulatory Body mandated by the Health Professions Act 857, Section 5 to register and license all persons who have been trained in Psychology and Applied Psychology to enable them practice legally in Ghana.
Academic requirements are a Master's degree, PhD or PsyD in any field in Psychology or in Counselling.

Pay the registration fee at Fidelity Bank, Ridge Towers Branch, or via Mobile Money short code *222*7270#.
Submit your completed application to the Council Secretariat. Processing takes 4–8 weeks subject to verification.
